How about 2013?
2013 is year of Acceptance Appreciation Gratitude and finding myself.
It is also a year full of emotional roller coaster.
As of June 2013-celebrated 2nd year anniversary with The One.
September 2013 - officially a 3rd year student in MBBS.
- turned 21 (yeah~)
November 2013- Won 3rd in interbatch group singing competition(again). Met a great bunch of friends along the way.
I only remember the 2nd half of the year though ..
Remember when people always say that :
When people grow up, People will part
When you get into your twenties your social circle tend to get smaller.
When you grow up people change and that's normal
Well all of this is true for me.
Your friends might not always be there for you anymore. There will come a time when u actually ask yourself :Were they even there all this while? Eventually you have to learn to do stuff on your own, be independant.
Maybe it's me turning into an introvert or something else but im just not into socializing anymore.
Your social circle might be less than 5 friends. The others are just Hi-Bye friends or when-you-need-them friends. Those glory of the college days where everyone is your friend is long gone,the flames are washed out. Again, mostly you just stick to yourself.
One thing i really am proud of is i found a group of really great friends to hang out with,
Those that you dont have to be close with but ones that you can actually trust and talk your heart out ! :)
Then again, I hope this chemistry last .
2013 is gone and i shall step into 2014 with a strong heart and mind.
May God grant me the strength to overcome the challanges coming my way .
note to self : Stay positive !
